Steam gamers have less than 24 hours to nab free store credit

Steam users looking for a quick boost to their wallets have less than 24 hours to win free store credit.

There are some excellent games available at the moment, with Ghost Of Tsushima’s new PC port and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 both performing wonderfully in the charts, as is Elden Ring after yesterday’s story trailer.

Of course the latest AAA titles and even some beloved indie games all cost a fair chunk of cash, and we’re not just talking about Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows bundle, which is upwards of £100/$100.

So you can either reach into your own pocket and drop a wad of cash yourself, or you can cross your fingers and hope you win some free in-store Steam credit with a new giveaway.

The giveaway comes from the Free Steam Games Twitter (or X if you prefer) page, and is offering two gift cards as prizes.

One gift card is worth $5, whereas the other is worth $10, which isn’t much but if it gets you what you want at a reduced cost who cares?

All you need to do for a chance to win is add the upcoming Steam game Mall Heist to your wishlist, then like and retweet the post to be entered into the competition.

The entry window closes tomorrow, 23 May, and then entries will be counted, checked and someone will be declared as the winner. Worth noting there will be two winners, nobody is going to get lucky and win both gift cards.
