Steam users simply can’t miss the freebie I’m about to write about, it’s going to change your lives I promise.
Free games and demos aren’t uncommon in the Steam store and this month is no exception, but all the others can wither away into obscurity as far as I’m concerned as you should be playing the brand-new Yakuza game instead
That’s right you can now try Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii for free on Steam, and here’s why you should
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii is the all-new spin-off title from RGG Studio, starring the beloved Yakuza protagonist/antagonist Goro Majima, also referred to as the Mad Dog.

On this adventure however he’ll become a Sea Dog, as he embarks on a round-trip journey through Hawaii on a stolen pirate ship as he attempts to restore his lost memories.
If that sounds wacky and a little bit bizarre it’s because it is, and while the Yakuza games have always featured some silliness it feels like this instalment is dialing things up to 11.
It’s equal parts Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag as it is Marvel’s Spider-Man, as when you’re not sailing across the sea shooting down other vessels you’ll be on land wrestling with the locals.
Majima uses his fists or cutlasses to take down his foes, and the mad fools at RGG Studio even gave Majima a grappling hook for aerial combinations and exploration.

Anyway it comes out later this month for Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms, and you can try the game for yourself right now on Steam via the demo, though be warned that the progress you make in the demo will not carry over to the full game, unfortunately.
The demo is also available on Xbox and PlayStation if you’d prefer, either way play it, more people need to know about this game.
