There are plenty of exciting titles set to land in the remainder of August, from Star Wars Outlaws to Concord.
But it’s Visions of Mana that I want to highlight to you today.
Published by Square Enix and developed by Ouka Studios, Visions of Mana should most definitely be on your radar.

It’s the first new mainline entry in the long-running RPG franchise since 2006 so to use the words Taylor Swift greeted me with at The Eras Tour, it’s been a long time coming.
Launching on 29 August, Visions of Mana will see players assume the role of Val, a Soul Guard who’s tasked with escorting a group to the Mana Tree.
This is, of course, a video game so the task isn’t quite that straight forward, and a number of foes will stand in Val’s path.
As we near Visions of Mana’s launch, a new demo has been released on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC via Steam.

You need only to head to your storefront of choice, search for Visions of Mana, and download the demo to get going.
ICYMI: Take a look at our preview of Star Wars Outlaws below.
The demo promises to guide you through “a section of the story, battles, and exploration”.

Enough to give you an idea of what’s in store, but not too much that it spoils Visions of Mana’s wider tale.
There’s even a bonus reward up for grabs if you do play the demo.
Download it and you’ll acquire three weapons you can use in the full-game: a Gladius, Falx, and Horn Lance.
Essentially, this means a small sword, great sword, and lance for Val.

“The protagonist Val and his childhood friend Hinna, the newly appointed Alm of Fire, set off on a journey to the Mana Tree. This game’s iconic vibrant and vast semi-open field contains adorable yet ferocious monsters, allowing you to enjoy swift three-dimensional battles using the power of the Elementals,” the synopsis teases.
“Through adventures with friends met along the way, they start to see the truth about the world. Must we accept our fates?”
Dive in now while you can.
