I'm just gonna come right out and say it: There are officially too many video games.
I mean seriously, who on Earth has the time and energy to keep up with all the absolute bangers coming out?
I've still not cleared my 2023 backlog and I already have the impending threat of games like Assassin's Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws alongside indie gems like Thank Goodness You're Here! and Mixtape.
And yet in spite of a backlog that regularly begs for mercy and the sweet release of death, I continually add more games to the pile like a sadistic prison guard testing the limits of suffering.

I wish for you to join me in making the same beautiful mistakes, which is why I'm here to warn you you currently have less than 24 hours to grab hundreds of free downloads on Steam.
If you're the sort of person that pays attention you'll know this last week just gone was Steam Next Fest, a special time where hundreds of developers release free demos for some of their upcoming games.
There are, truly, a crap-ton of games for you to try. From bizarre indie curiosities to some of the next big things in gaming, we're being absolutely spoiled for choice.
Here at GAMINGbible we've already highlighted some of our favourites, but time is running out for you to get 'em downloaded.
