
Steam gamers have been urged to check out these free playable demos included in the ‘City Builder & Colony Sim Fest’ before the event ends.
Taking place until Monday 31 March 2025, Steam's ‘City Builder & Colony Sim Fest’ is all about simulation games of today inspired by the classics of yesteryear such as SimCity, Civilization, Anno and many more familiar franchises.

There are hundreds of free playable demos that you can play on PC right now courtesy of Steam but I’ve picked out just 20 titles from its vast library. Hopefully, at least one or two of these sim games will tickle your fancy.
- Greenfeet Haven “is a 2D top-down colony sim where you guide halflings in a fantasy world. Start with nothing, launch expeditions into the wilds, experiment with crafting to uncover new items, and transform your settlement into a thriving, self-sufficient village."
