I may not be as crazy about Horizon Forbidden West as some of you, but I can't deny that it's one of the most staggeringly gorgeous video games I've ever seen. And with the adventure now available via Steam, I've no doubt we're going to see it get even prettier.
The 2022 PlayStation adventure landed on Steam today (21 March) and is already bringing in a huge number of players. According to SteamDB the game has, at the time of writing, 25,000 concurrent players. Clearly PC gamers have just been waiting for this one.
Going from the reviews, Horizon Forbidden West also seems to be a much stronger port than the disastrous attempt to bring The Last Of Us Part 1 to Steam last year. The game currently has overwhelmingly positive reviews from users, so it's look like PlayStation has learned its lesson when it comes to porting its games over to PC.

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition contains everything in the base game plus the Burning Shores expansion, so you've hours of gameplay to work through.
The PC version also comes with a range of new graphical options for players, including NVIDIA DLSS 3 upscaling and frame generation, image enhancing NVIDIA DLAA and latency reducing NVIDIA Reflex. AMD FSR and Intel XeSS are also supported.
Oh, and Steam is offering an exclusive bonus free download for anyone thinking of picking up Aloy's most recent adventure.
If you pick up the game and link your Steam account with your PSN account, you'll unlock the Nora Legacy Outfit and the Nora Legacy Spear. Maybe not the most exciting free download ever, but a definite nice incentive for anyone thinking about double dipping.
