It was also confirmed that the port will receive a few PC-specific features to enhance the gameplay experience.
This includes native 4k resolution, Ultrawide and Super Ultrawide monitor support, and more features.
The fans are ecstatic if you’d believe it, and have shared their gratitude and support for Rockstar on Reddit in various threads.
In one thread a fan exclaimed “LETS GO!!!! The mods are gonna be great,” a great point too as I’m sure someone is going to try adding Red Dead Redemption 2 features into the game.

Another fan followed up by saying “man, I just bought it for the switch! Guess I'll buy it again.”
One more fan said the release date was great timing, saying: “close to the first payday of my new job, what a lovely thing to treat myself to.”
Of course there will be plenty of fans who are disappointed in this port, as many are still waiting for a remake that brings Red Dead Redemption up to the quality-level of its sequel.
Then are are fans telling Rockstar that they don’t care about this new PC port, because they’d rather have GTA VI instead.

Ignoring those people though this is great news, and if you haven’t played Red Dead Redemption in a while this will be well-worth the revisit.
