Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be any more announcements for The Last of Us, Naughty Dog is back.
No, it isn’t The Last of Us Part III but fans of the hit games will still be happy with the latest news, especially if they are the proud new owners of the PlayStation 5 Pro.

The announcement came from the official Naughty Dog Twitter account yesterday and despite the good news, fans are still hoping that there will be news of the studio’s next release soon.
“Really hope you plan to share what you're working on fairly soon,” one comment read.
“Kind of tired of hearing about TLoU1 and TLoU2 all the time, much as I loved them... we want to see the future. Not backwards…”
Another said: “Damn! I was expecting another Re:Remaster or a 10 dollar upgrade.”

With Naughty Dog regularly releasing remasters of The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II despite the games releasing in 2013 and 2020 respectively, it is no surprise that fans are feeling a bit fed up with no news of a potential third part.
However, with another sequel not yet confirmed by Naughty Dog, it could be a while.
Until then, our very own Kate Harrold was lucky enough to review The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered earlier this year and called it “perfection deserving of a victory lap”.
“Naughty Dog has proved that The Last of Us isn’t just a narrative powerhouse, it boasts a thrilling combat system that perhaps, until now, has been underestimated.

No Return pushes the franchise's systems to their limits, creating a mode that is oh so easy to sink many, many hours into.
As a full package, there’s nothing else you could possibly want from The Last of Us Part II Remastered.”
Now you can try it out for yourself on the PlayStation 5 Pro!
