PlayStation Plus subscribers are eating good with the latest slew of free games, including one 2021 release that many hail as a 'true masterpiece'.
There are so many genuinely incredible games on PlayStation Plus right now for subscribers on the Extra and Premium tier. Earlier this week PlayStation announced another massive batch of free games for PlayStation Plus Extra users, with a total combined playtime of over 650 hours.
With so many games it can be a little hard to work out what to play first, but one that instantly caught our attention was Game Of The Year 2021 winner It Takes Two.

For those that missed it back in 2021, It Takes Two is a co-op platformer in which two players work together to solve puzzles, fight bosses, and explore large, beautifully designed levels. It's got touches of Toy Story, Super Mario 64, and even Tekken for one bizarre sequence.
What's interesting about It Takes Two is that it has to be played with a second person, which really makes it quite a unique experience. I found myself going through the game with my wife, who doesn't typically enjoy spending her evenings gaming. But working through It Takes Two and learning how we could overcome the game's various obstacles together was an absolute delight.
"Finally. My procrastination about getting It Takes Two has finally paid off," wrote one Reddit user.
Another agreed: "It is truly a masterpiece IMO. The gameplay is excellent, the story is good, the acting is amazing as well. Me and my wife have played through it twice. It is the best couch co-op story game."

Elsewhere, PlayStation Plus subscribers looking for a more dedicated single-player experience can get their hands on 11 Assassin's Creed games and a bunch of Far Cry games. There really is a little something for everyone.
