The PlayStation 5 Pro’s big reveal is imminent, yet all fans can do is roast the way all this so-called secrecy has been handled.
When it comes to keeping secrets, few publishers seem able to do a decent job.
Ever since rumours of the PlayStation 5 Pro started, there’s been a steady trickle of leaks that have all but confirmed its existence.

Speaking of PlayStation, have you played Astro Bot yet?
Try as Sony might have to downplay these leaks, the new console is one of the industry’s worst kept secrets.
Consequently, when the news broke that a Sony hardware showcase was scheduled, everyone took it as a teaser for the PS5 Pro.

What else could it be?
Apparently, we had a right to believe it would be about the upgraded hardware as PlayStation has pretty much confirmed it via an unlisted YouTube video titled “PS5 Pro”.
Despite hardly being a shocking revelation, fans are angry by how poorly this grand reveal has been handled from the beginning.
In the words of Twitter user @Press_X_Fool, “Damn. I get that most ppl already assumed this, but it sucks that nothing can be a surprise anymore. Mfs digging into the YouTube unlisted videos.”

“So, they leaked their own stuff,” commented @SATTY094.
To prove that this was a real mistake that PlayStation itself made, others have not only screenshot the evidence but recorded videos as well.

Not that it’s really necessary now – the whole internet can see this faux pas without much digging.
Though, just to be transparent here, PlayStation has since changed the unlisted video title to “PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation - September 10”.
Putting the ire of the fandom to one side, at least for now, there are curious gamers who aren’t quite sure what the PS5 Pro can offer.
“I don't think they've even tapped into the full potential of the current PS5,” posted @theomeganerd, “Really curious to see what the pro will offer.”
