PlayStation Plus subscribers have less than 24 hours to claim October’s Essential tier games.
Starting on 7 November, PlayStation Plus will update its Essential tier with three new free games to add to your library. If you haven’t had a chance to claim the previous three though, there’s still time, and the best part is you don’t actually have to install them to own them.
Take a last look at The Callisto Protocol, leaving PS Plus tomorrow
The first title leaving the service tomorrow is The Callisto Protocol, a game so intense it was banned, but unfortunately left a lot to be desired from fans. Many gave it a second chance on PS Plus, stating the visuals are incredibly impressive, but the gameplay just doesn’t live up to its inspiration, Dead Space.

Next is Farming Simulator 22, a weird inclusion but one fans have actually quite enjoyed, especially as a game to unwind with after a long day or play on a call with some friends.
Finally, there’s Weird West, an action RPG that’s been the less popular of the three, but a game worth trying nonetheless, especially when it’s free.
The upcoming games for November aren’t much of an improvement to be honest, but are worth considering while they’re being offered.
First is Dragon Ball: The Breakers, an online survival game where players need to hide from and battle a variety of iconic villains from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. It’s still receiving updates, the most recent of which adds the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly to the roster.

Next is Mafia II: Definitive Editon, which lets players live through the golden age of organised crime. The protagonist must climb through the ranks by committing a variety of crimes, using the ill-gotten gains to cement themselves as New York’s top crime boss.
Finally, we have Aliens Fireteam Elite, a third-person survival shooter that lets you customise your own marine, and fight through several campaigns with more Xenomorphs than you can aim a flamethrower at. It can be played solo or with some buddies.
PlayStation Plus Essential will be updated on 7 November.
