Redditor Ok-Roof-794 has enjoyed their first time with the PS2 title so much that they took to Reddit to share their experience thus far.
“What a game! I mean one moment I’m playing a really solid FPS then I accidentally press triangle on the gadget and I’m playing this suped up version of Snake,” they said.
“All the weird quirks, production value and even just the general feel of the game takes you back to the more innocent and fun, golden PS2 era of gaming,” they added, “For me, PS Plus’ best USP is the hidden gems you wouldn’t have played, and this is another case in point.”
An outpouring of love for the series quickly followed.

Fellow gamer Alpacarok said, “I’ve been playing them as well and they are really fun. Just drop in and play without any pretence which is super rare these days.”

In the words of the OP, “they really don’t make ‘em like this anymore”.
If you want to fall in love with a classic franchise, your PS Plus membership is the way to help make that happen.
