Yes, the first PlayStation Plus free game for April 2024 appears to have leaked online a little early, and it's a 1995 Star Wars classic that's guaranteed to remind you of a time when you didn't have to pay bills or worry about that mole on your back.

The release date is currently listed as 16 April, which is typically when we can expect to see the PlayStation Plus Extra games announced. The PlayStation Plus Essential games for April are expected to be announced tomorrow (27 March).
PlayStation Plus users have been hit with a few pleasant surprises of late, but the reaction to this vintage Star Wars game has been almost overwhelmingly positive - especially following recent complaints that PlayStation wasn't doing enough to bring older games to the subscription service.
"Woah! I played the CRAP out of this when it came out," one fan wrote on Twitter.
Another added: "Oh that’s wonderful news! This game is FMV based but the story and characters were really good actually. The PS1 version even got 3D models and was made by Factor 5, the people that did the Rogue Squadron trilogy."
