Possibly the most exciting game confirmed to be landing on PlayStation Plus finally has a release date, and it even got a new trailer to boot.
Sony’s last State of Play event was chocked full of reveals and trailers, like for instance the announcement of Days Gone Remastered and our first look at Borderlands 4.
But one little announcement tucked right in the middle of the presentation was extremely exciting for those of us who were lucky enough to have played its demo beforehand.

Blue Prince (say that out loud after watching the trailer) is an interesting little puzzle game that is set to drop on PlayStation Plus on day one, although until recently we didn’t know exactly when “day one” was.
Thankfully, developers Dogubomb have just confirmed exactly when it’s set to drop on all platforms.
“We have been promising more news about a launch date for what feels like forever,” Dogubomb revealed on Steam, “but now, we can reveal, at long last, that Blue Prince is coming to Steam, PS5 & PS+ Game Catalogue, Xbox Series X|S, Windows & Game Pass on April 10th 2025!”
Now if you haven’t heard anything about this one, then I suggest you keep it that way and simply take my word for it; because I think this might actually be a sleeper GOTY pick for 2025.

However, if you need to see the proof in the pudding, give the demo on Steam a go. I can’t quite remember the last time a demo sold me on a game the way Blue Prince’s one has, and frankly I sort of wish I could un-play it and go into the full game completely blind.
If you just want to check out the vibes though, the developers just released a brand new trailer for the game to commemorate its release date.
April can’t come soon enough.
