PlayStation Plus is a decent service, though it’s one that sees many beloved games leave in order to make way for new free titles. Sadly, this means that fan-favourites are often on borrowed time.
One such popular game that’s leaving soon is Tacoma, a sci-fi action RPG that has “very positive” reviews across the board. Despite being released in 2017, it’s a game that still draws in a crowd, and is a comfort playthrough for long-time fans. As such, playing it is a wise move if you’ve never explored its gripping narrative before.
Fans of the game are imploring their fellow PS Plus users to partake in the puzzles of Tacoma before it’s too late. “If you enjoy games of this type (kind of a walking sim, story based, with light puzzle solving), I found it super enjoyable,” shared a passionate fan on Reddit. “It is also roughly four to six hours in total, being thorough, so you can knock it out in a few sessions, giving you plenty of time before it leaves.”

If you can't play Tacoma before it leaves, at least watch its launch trailer.
Few can deny the call to game when it’ll be a relatively quick PlayStation session, thus allowing us to move onto other titles that are equally demanding of our time.
“I actually played it because it was recommended by a buddy. My play time was under three hours, I don't care about trophies so if you do obviously [the play time is] longer,” commented karl_hungas. “I really enjoyed the game and actually enjoyed that it was so short. Finished it in two sessions, but enjoyed the story and game in general.”

If you like slow starts that build up the narrative at a tense pace, only to reveal a truly awe-inspiring ending, Tacoma is right up your alley. Seeing as the free games lineup for March is already on shaky ground, us PS gamers need a little pick me up.
Tacoma is available on PS Plus until February, so the clock really is ticking if you want to play this before it’s gone.
