As reported by zeebiz.com, not content with its current back catalogue of high-end products, Sony Interactive Entertainment, has recently acquired a renowned audio technology brand of gaming headphones, namely California-based Audeze, bringing them into the PlayStation ecosystem.

“Audeze is a premier brand for headphones, and this acquisition highlights Sony Interactive's focus on innovation and providing the best audio experience to PlayStation players,” said Hideaki Nishino, senior vice president of platform experience at Sony Interactive Entertainment.
“We're excited to bring Audeze's expertise into the PlayStation ecosystem, building on the great strides we've made with PlayStation 5's Tempest 3D AudioTech and the Pulse 3D wireless headset,” added Nishino.

In related news, Sony PlayStation recently revealed its specification and pricing details for its upcoming handheld device, the PlayStation Portal as well as two pieces of new audio hardware, the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore. However, the price of Sony’s new handheld device has already divided fans.
The PlayStation Portal, Pulse Elite, and Pulse Explore do not yet have release dates, but they are scheduled to launch later this year. Pre-orders are expected to go live very soon.
