The Last of Us Part II has received a free download that makes the critically acclaimed PlayStation game look even better than before.
After months of rumours, Sony finally released its PlayStation 5 Pro which boasts improved resolution, textures, performance and more. However, those enhancements come at a cost with the PS5 Pro being priced at £699.99 which doesn't even include a disc drive or vertical stand.

Still, if you’re able to splash that cash, your PS5 games will look extra gorgeous on the new console, and one such game is Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II Remastered.
In our review of The Last of Us Part II Remastered, we said: “Is so much more than a new lick of paint though. While those new bells and whistles do boost the main game’s intensity and immersion, making this the definitive way to experience this stage of Ellie’s story, it’s far from the only way in which this release shines.”
As spotted by PlayStation Lifestyle, a new patch has been released for The Last of Us Part II Remastered. Analysed by the tech experts at Digital Foundry, patch 1.2 gives PS5 Pro gamers the choice of enhanced graphics and performance modes.
In particular, patch 1.2 will be able to upscale The Last of Us Part II Remastered to an output of 4K with its PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) at 60 frames per second.

The patch will also fix reported bugs such as one that prevented trophies from popping when importing save data from PS4 to PS5 as well as implementing the standard stability improvements.
