God Of War fans celebrate surprise Ragnarök update

Pipe down boy

God of War Ragnarök is finally available on PC, and this latest version of the game includes an update that fans are positively thrilled about.

Fair to say, God of War Ragnarök is one of the PlayStation 5’s most impressive experiences so naturally, we all had our fingers crossed that it would also perform well on PC.

I’m sure you remember The Last of Us Part I’s PC launch. No one wants a repeat of that.

Thankfully, God of War Ragnarök appears to be performing well.

There is some review bombing that you’ll likely see over on Steam, but that’s not to do with the game’s performance.

Instead, many PC users are angered that playing the game requires you to create and link a PSN account.

I don’t really see a problem myself but hey, I’m not about to open that can of worms.

If you do choose to pick up the game on PC, you’ll find a key change that’s been made since the PS5 game launched.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is set to launch on PS5 and Nintendo Switch later this year.

Do you remember Atreus’ annoying puzzle hints when you’re trying to figure something out for yourself?

A new option has been added allowing players to tone this down - a very welcomed addition.

The best news is that this feature will also soon be coming to the console version, although a release date for the update is yet to be announced.

Players are, needless to say, thrilled.

“Fantastic, if I ever had a critique about this game, it would be Atreus piping up, ‘Father look! You can use the mirrors to reflect the light!’ And I immediately want to throw my axe at the boy,” wrote one relieved fan.

“THANK GOD. I stopped my third playthrough cuz I couldn’t take it anymore,” said another.

“That’s a positive. I hate when it takes me more than two minutes to figure out an entire puzzle. They start forcing hints down your throats. By default, this should be disabled entirely if you ask me,” read another comment.
