This year’s Opening Night Live at Gamescom brought us some pretty unexpected reveals.
Both Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country were confirmed earlier than I think many of us expected.
Perhaps one of the most unexpected reveals of the night though was that of Secret Level, a new anthology series from Prime Video.

Essentially, the show’s 15 episodes will allow viewers to dive into 15 familiar and beloved video game worlds.
Well, I say ‘beloved’, but Concord is one of the included games so make of that what you will.
The other 14 featured franchises are Armored Core, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, Pac-Man, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament, Warhammer 40,000, and the vaguely titled PlayStation.
The PlayStation episode will seemingly dive into more than one IP, and it’s clear from a newly released poster that the episode’s line-up will include God of War’s Kratos.

Take a look at the trailer for Secret Level below.
A new promotional poster advertising the series’ 10 December premiere date features an array of familiar characters from those aforementioned properties, but it’s the inclusion of Kratos that’s left people talking.
Presumably, this means that Christopher Judge will be returning to voice the character, but we cannot say for certain.

So far, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Kavin Hart, Heaven Hart, Keanu Reeves, Gabriel Luna, Ariana Greenblatt, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Michael Beach, Emily Swallow, and Claudia Doumit are the only confirmed cast members.
It appears that Keanu will be a part of the Armored Core episode, just in case anyone was expecting a surprise Johnny Silverhand appearance.
As there is no specific God of War episode, just ‘PlayStation’, I wonder if Kratos will mix with other well-known Sony characters, but how would that work?

Is there a way to explain how Kratos could cross paths with, say, Aloy?
There’s so much about the series we don’t know, but it’s hugely exciting to see so many IPs collide in one ambitious project.
