The Last Of Us Part II Remastered is quickly approaching, and Naughty Dog has already confirmed a post-launch update for those wanting more to sink their teeth into.
It’s been an exciting week for fans of The Last Of Us. We’re less than a week away from the PlayStation 5 remaster of The Last Of Us Part II, and earlier this week we received casting information for some of the new faces joining the HBO live-action series. This includes the news Kaitlyn Dever would be stepping into the shoes of Abby.

Unfortunately we’ve still got a long time to wait for the second season of The Last Of Us, but the upcoming remaster should be more than enough to keep fans occupied in the meantime.

Aside from giving the game a fresh coat of paint, a new roguelike survival mode, and other bonus goodies, Naughty Dog recently confirmed another surprise treat for fans in the form of a documentary. It’s called Grounded II: Making The Last of Us Part II, and will be released as a free post-launch update for the game, and on YouTube.
As the name implies it’s the second time Naughty Dog has shared a documentary, with the first being for the original The Last Of Us game all the way back in 2014.
The documentary will shed some light on the creative process for the story and gameplay, including some of the more controversial moments that had fans reeling when they first played. It’ll also feature interviews from some of the developers as well as the actors who brought the beloved characters to life with their performances.

At the time of writing, there’s currently no release date for Grounded II, though if it’s going to be a post-launch update for the new game it’ll likely be a few days after its launch.
The Last Of Us Part II Remastered will be released for PlayStation 5 on 19 January as a full-price release, though if you own the PS4 version you can upgrade for $10/£10.
