It may be a while until players can get their hands on The Witcher 4 but thanks to one fan, we may be able to dive back into the fantasy RPG a lot sooner than we thought.
With CD Projekt Red hard at work on The Witcher 4 (amongst other projects), fans of the hit RPG series can look forward to diving back into the monster-slaying world some time in the future.

For now, fans can look forward to season four of the game’s Netflix adaptation The Witcher or even dive back into 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt thanks to an update earlier this year.

Released back in May, the official modding tool for The Witcher 3 allowed the game’s dedicated modding community to add to the game with reckless abandon (and CD Projekt Red’s full support).
Since then, thousands of mods have been added including Song of Wind, a brand-new free download by Roi_Jean over on Nexus Mods.
Song of Wind for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt promises a brand-new adventure for players as Geralt sets off on a journey to discover a mysterious island.
Adding two brand-new quests, dialogue and game mechanics, this mini expansion is perfect for those who are eager for more to do in the epic RPG.

“In two new quests, Geralt goes on the hunt for Whispering Island, a place that nobody seems to know about…” the official synopsis reads.
“Designed as a new mini ‘expansion’, only the first two quests are currently available. They serve as a contribution to the modding competition organised by CD Projekt.”
As you can see, this is only a snippet but it is currently unclear if the modder will continue adding to Song of the Wind.
However, with a brand-new plot, dubbed dialogue and a secret major gameplay accompaniment, you would be silly not to check out this free download.
