The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is in dire need of a remaster, luckily it just got one and it looks fantastic.
Bethesda fans are still a bit salty about how long it’ll be before The Elder Scrolls VI launches, and honestly who can blame them when a teaser trailer was dropped years before the game actually entered proper development.
See that Elder Scrolls VI teaser for yourself below.
In the meantime, Elder Scrolls players have nothing better to do than play the previous entries like Skyrim, but considering some players have finished literally everything there is to do in those games, I think we’re all in dire need of something fresh.

Fortunately, there’s a mod you can download for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind which not only overhauls the game’s graphics and gameplay, but also adds brand-new content to a game that’s over two decades old.
It’s called Morrowind Rebirth, and it’s currently a work in progress with several updates adding additional improvements and content drops to the game.
Several items and weapons have been added, with the weapon sandbox in general being tweaked and rebalanced for a more cohesive experience.
Compared to the other games, Morrowind doesn’t always get the love and attention despite its phenomenal magic system that lets you create your own spells as well as a fantastic story.

What lets it down is how the overall graphics and gameplay have aged over time, though this mod does a lot to fix these problems and even irons out some of the game’s more prominent bugs and issues.
Overall it’s a fantastic mod and well-worth trying if you're a long-time fan of the game or are tempted to play it for the very first time.
Morrowind Rebirth can be downloaded for free from NexusMods right now for PC users.
