Over the years, there have been tons of mods, in fact too many to mention, otherwise, we’d be here all day. That being said, one mod in particular, considered to be one of Skyrim’s OG’s has just celebrated a massive milestone.

The mod in question is called ‘The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal’ and to celebrate its impressive milestone, the creator of the mod, MannyGT has just released a 10th-anniversary version available to download for free via Nexusmods.
“For a long time, no one claimed the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal. The last was the Champion of Cyrodiil during the final days of the Third Era. But what happened after the Oblivion crisis? Where is the Gray Cowl now?” reads the synopsis of the mod.
“You're a thief and while stealing and pickpocketing items around the world, a vision appears in front of you. The Gray Cowl is calling.”
“Welcome back, my old friends. 10 years have passed, can you believe it? I released the first version of my mod ‘The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal’ 10 years ago,” said MannyGT before announcing that the mod has benefited from a special update.

The update to ‘The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal’ has introduced a ton of new content such as improving the visuals, adding new areas including dungeons, a player home, and enemies as well as a host of quality-of-life improvements.
Sadly, as is the nature of most mods, despite Skyrim benefiting from the Creation Club on Xbox, ‘The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal’ is a PC exclusive.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It’s also included with Xbox Game Pass at no extra cost.
