Red Dead Redemption 2 is a haunting experience, not least of all because of the heartache we must endure to uncover all its wonderful content. Although the pain is worth it for the overall experience, there’s then the bitter sweet realisation that the main story is complete and we need to find another game to play.
Or do we?
How cool does 'Bandit Hideouts 1.19' look? It's a Red Dead Redemption 2 mod we'll be playing, for sure!
As anyone who’s been playing the game for a long time will know, there are numerous mods to expand on the base experience, one of which allows players to enjoy roughly 50 new missions. Best of all, it’s for free.

‘Bandit Hideouts 1.19’ is an expansion that delivers “105 bandit hideouts, 31 ambush locations” with “bandits posse” determined to hunt you down via horseback in Rockstar’s classic adventure. It all sounds exhilarating, and exactly what gamers need when they’ve exhausted all other missions.
“I’m brand new here and I gotta say WOW! This is amazing, you’ve got some serious skills man. I have never used mods before but I’m definitely going to try yours. This looks like a lot of fun. Thank you,” said one impressed gamer after seeing gameplay of the mod in action.
Another said, “This mod is actually good! I tested it out now and it turned out so good! God bless the creator of this mod.”
Should you not fancy more gun fuelled antics in your playthrough, you can instead opt for expansions with a more peaceful disposition to completely change how RDR2 feels. Or you can instead hunt for easter eggs relating to Jack Marston’s future, to see what became of the boy after his father’s death – it isn’t what you think!

There are so many ways to play Red Dead Redemption 2, it’s unsurprising that it’s still considered an iconic, gorgeous looking game six years later. It’s a title we always return to in between new releases, especially due to all the amazing mods.
