Like any good fantasy story, The Witcher has characters who are impossibly old but don’t look it, Geralt and Yennefer included.
These star-crossed lovers, who are a much better match than Geralt and Triss (don’t argue with me), have been through a lot together, so it was great to see them get their happy ending at the end of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Of course, it remains to be seen if that lasted, as The Witcher IV will likely feature both characters in some regard.
What you might not realise about this video game pair though is the age gap between them; it's quite a wide gap that actually varies depending on which version of The Witcher you’re looking at.

In the books, the end of Geralt’s adventure leaves him at the ripe old age of 57 years old, much younger than Vessemir who’s said to be over 100 years old.
Yennefer, on the other hand, is around 94 by the end of the story, with a gap of 37 years between them.
The TV adaptation of The Witcher is different though as by the end of series, if things play out as we expect they will, Geralt will be 108 and Yennefer will be 76 - still a wide gap but now the other way around.
They look great for their age, we must say, but they are cheating a bit with their enhanced biologies and, of course, magical supplements.

Again though, it’s pretty common for these fantasy characters to be much older than they appear to be, and as long as Geralt can still swing a sword around, it doesn’t seem like age will slow him down one bit.
It’ll be interesting to see what age we find them as in The Witcher IV though, as we’re well into Ciri’s years as a witcher now so plenty of time has passed.
