The long, agonising wait for Grand Theft Auto VI continues, but there’s plenty of fun we can be having in the meantime.
Last December, Rockstar Games put us all out of misery, dropping the first trailer for GTA VI.
Unfortunately, since then, it’s been almost radio silence. It was confirmed that GTA VI will launch in fall of next year but nothing else has been revealed in terms of visual media.

A Take-Two Interactive earnings call is just around the corner, leading fans to wonder whether something new is on the way but I wouldn’t get too caught up in that theory.
Yes, Rockstar reveals do tend to happen somewhat close to an earnings call, but it may be too early to ramp up the GTA VI marketing campaign.
While we do wait for the next reveal to drop, you may want to revisit an old friend.

If you’re playing San Andreas on PC, you can also enjoy a multiplayer spin on the game thanks to this fantastic mod.

It’s backwards compatible with the ‘San Andreas Multiplayer’ mod which you may have sampled before its decline.
I’d recommend you boost your experience with this updated take on a multiplayer experience.
It’s community driven and open-sourced so you should expect regular support updates, plus the mod removes player limits which should help boost the chaos.
‘Open.mp’ has been running for quite some time, so the server updates aren’t quite as plentiful as they once were but you can join the mod’s Discord group to receive alerts on what devs are working on.

It’s by no means a replacement for GTA VI, but it’s a worthwhile temporary distraction.
