I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Fallout 5 isn’t landing anytime soon.
We’re not in a total content drought though.
A second season of Prime Video’s Fallout is in the works and Fallout 76 is arguably better than it's ever been with Bethesda having recently dropped several major updates, including ‘Skyline Valley’ and ‘Gleaming Depths’.

In fact, another is in the works as players will soon be able to play as a ghoul for the very first time.
If you’re a Fallout 4 fan though, I’m afraid you’re going to have to turn to mods if you want to renew or extend your experience.
Thankfully, there are plenty of fantastic mods to choose from but it's the new release ‘Settlements Reborn’ that I want to draw your attention to today.
ICYMI: We played snog, marry, irradiate with the cast of Fallout.
‘Fallout 4 Settlements Reborn’ has been created by NexusMods user WMDBloodHunter.

The mod essentially, as you might be able to guess, reimagines the game’s settlements in a bid to personalise them, adding unique lore, items, and stories.
“The emptiness in settlements of the Commonwealth must not continue. In ‘Fallout 4 Settlements Reborn’, the empty void has been filled and shows the harsh life of the world 200 years later. There are multiple versions so choose which one you prefer,” the mod’s creator wrote.
You can select from ‘Lore Version’, ‘Sanctuary Minutemen Overhaul’, or ‘Full Overhaul’.
The former adds abandonment lore to unused settlements, the secondary option adds renewed lore regarding the Minutemen, while the third option is the modder’s preference as to what they believe the game’s lore should be.

All settlements will now have unique needs, with new custom weapons, armour, and collectible items also having been added.
The patch notes for this one are extensive so I suggest you peruse those at your leisure.
If you fancy giving this one a whirl, it’s free to download for PC users over on NexusMods now.
