Players won’t want to miss their chance to bag this must-play psychological horror, especially when it’s being given away free-of-charge.
Like Steam, free games are a common occurrence on the Epic Games Store. That being said, the difference between the two is that on Epic you actually know how long you have to claim the game before it’s back up to full price. With that in mind players won’t want to miss the chance to claim the highly-rated horror game Doki Doki Literature Club Plus for free for a limited time.
Take a look at Doki Doki Literature Club Plus below
For those unaware, Doki Doki Literature Club is a visual novel game where the player’s character joins their school’s literature club. It stars a colourful cast of characters and a disarmingly normal story for the first part of the game before things start to go awry. Without getting too deep into spoilers the literature club isn’t as innocent as it appears to be, leading to a memorable psychological horror experience that’ll constantly keep you on your toes.

The game also has several branching paths depending on which dialogue options you choose and which characters you want to spend your time with, so there are plenty of options for repeat playthroughs.
The Plus version of the game significantly upgrades the visuals, adds six new side stories as well as the option to listen to the game’s soundtrack via an in-game music player.
Players can claim the full game for free until 15 February at 4pm, by which point it’ll go back to costing £11.39.
Even if you’re not a fan of visual novels, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus is well worth a go, if not only for the unique horror experience it provides, plus it’s free so no harm in trying it right?
