GTA VI still has no release date or second trailer, which many fans are starting to find concerning.
That’s because GTA VI is still, as far as we know, scheduled to release sometime this year, with speculation landing on a November launch date.
We’ll likely know for sure when the second trailer drops, but then again it is Rockstar Games we’re talking about so it could very well leave things down to the wire.
Fans have found the wait to be unbearable, we can’t blame them either because this is Rockstar’s most anticipated title of all time, with hype far exceeding even Red Dead Redemption 2.

While many have found Rockstar’s radio-silence on the game infuriating, yet a little bit amusing, it’s slowly transitioning to concern as people wonder what’s taking so long.
"I know [...] in May, the earnings call is happening, but let's remember to not anticipate anything until Rockstar themselves starts revealing, they love the free marketing with all the theory crafting going on,” read a Reddit thread by PSavage88.
This kicked-off yet another discussion on when we can expect to see that second trailer, and marketing in general, as many fans have lost their patience.
“Ok no release date but why are they not giving us some screenshots or videos. If the marketing was going to be later, what was the purpose of blue balling us with the first trailer?” read one disgruntled fan’s comment.

“I really just want a release date so I can submit my PTO request lmao,” added another.
“Good rule of thumb for marketing would be six months before the game is released. If the game is still scheduled for this year, I’d bet on the game being released on Friday November 21, one week before Black Friday,” suggested another fan.
With all the Nintendo stuff going on at the moment, I’d wager Rockstar Games is holding off marketing until Summer.
That said it’s GTA VI, it’s not like the game will even need that much marketing to sell well; everybody is going to get it regardless.
