I feel like I’m trapped in some kind of never-ending loop of Pokémon leaks, because somehow - even though though these leaks originated at the start of last month - we’re still getting news every day regarding their contents.
In case news of these leaks passed you by, here’s the short version. Sometime in August, someone breached Game Freak’s servers and stole close to a terabytes worth of information and data.
This data was, to put it lightly, highly confidential and has proven to be a massive, ongoing headache for the poor folks at Game Freak.

It includes (but isn’t limited to) personal info regarding Game Freak’s employees, beta sprites for several unreleased Pokémon, a playable build for the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A game, and… some less-than-family-friendly stories about Typhlosion and Octillery that I shall not repeat here.
And, of course, it’s gotten worse. Again. Twitter user @CentroLeaks recently shared new details regarding a long-rumoured but never released Pokémon game.
The info they’ve compiled details the third and final game in what would have been the final game in the Pokémon X & Y trilogy, which would have been called (drumroll please) Pokémon Z.
As Centro Leaks explains, this game would have rounded out the story of the legendary Pokémon Zygarde.

“Zygarde was originally going to have two Complete forms” they explained, “Forme X and Forme Y. Forme X was going to be based on a large wolf that hunts Xerneas as its prey. Forme Y was going to use anti-aircraft like weaponry to hunt Yveltal. Both forms were repurposed into 10% and 100% Zygarde.”
Gotta admit, the thought of a Pokemon using “anti-aircraft like weaponry” does go kinda hard.
At this point, you’ve got nothing left to surprise me here. These leaks are so incredibly in-depth that they’ve basically covered everything I could have feasibly already made a joke about. See you back here next week for whatever bananas stuff that leaks then.
