Get your hands on this ultra-rare freebie ahead of time

Pokémon fans can get their hands on a new, ultra-rare freebie right now, thanks to a giveaway from The Pokémon Company.

Thank you in advance to ComicBook's Erik Hodges for the original story!

Those of you who enjoy collecting both physical and digital Pokémon cards are in for a nice little treat, as the official Pokémon TCG Twitter account has just announced that Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket players can now get a super rare card for free.

The Lillie's Clefairy EX card is actually part of the new physical Pokémon TCG set Scarlet and Violet - Journey Together, so it’s a bit of a surprise to see such a new card pop up in the game so soon.

And, not to brag or anything but, I was lucky enough to preview the new Scarlet and Violet - Journey Together TCG set last month and I was doubly lucky to pull a Lillie's Clefairy EX for myself (although I really wanted the Hop’s Zacian EX card but, hey, I’m not complaining… much).

Redeeming Lillie's Clefairy EX in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is thankfully a lot more straightforward than trying to get your hands on a physical version of the card however.

Pokémon Legends Z-A is the next Nintendo Switch release.

To get it for yourself, all you have to do is enter the card JOURNEYTOGETHER25 in-game (or by going to pokemon.com/redeem). And that’s it! Once that’s all done, you’ll have a digital copy of Lillie's Clefairy EX of your own.

Hopefully, the fact that this card has popped up in Pokémon TCG Pocket early means that the rest of the Journey Together set will be dropping in-game relatively soon too, because the new set is extremely fun.

However, considering The Pokémon Company just added the new Shining Revelry set to the game, I doubt we’ll see the Journey Together set drop for at least a few weeks.
