Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders are already live, and it might be a good idea to place those orders as soon as possible.
After months of rumours, Nintendo finally revealed the Switch 2 and social media went into a frenzy. As the name of the console suggests, the Nintendo Switch 2 is a direct successor and an evolution of its predecessor seemingly improving on what made the current console such a hit.

Before any major console release, manufacturers always claim that there will be plenty of stock for genuine gamers to pick up the latest machine at launch.
Perhaps Nintendo will prove our doubts wrong and gamers will have no issue picking up the Switch 2 at launch. However, as history often dictates, stock levels are low and scalpers claim the vast majority of a product to profit with egregious prices on third-party selling sites.
In the US, as reported by Gameranx, retailers such as Best Buy were quick to act and in the UK, many other retailers made sure to make those pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 live almost instantly.
At the time of writing, pre-orders are yet to go live on Amazon in the UK but that’s likely to happen when details are dropped by Nintendo regarding the Switch 2 during a Direct online event on 2 April.

I would assume that when Nintendo Direct airs, we will get the price and release date for the Switch 2, and when that happens, expect the hype to shift into overdue with the likelihood of getting a pre-order decreasing by the hour.
We’ll keep you posted as soon as the release date and price for the Nintendo Switch 2 becomes available.
