Take-Two Interactive is attempting to shut down such speculation, with its latest conference summary emphasising this fact.

Among the topics discussed was the launch date of the next game, which, as shared on Reddit, “remains on track for a Fall 2025”.
Seeing this in black and white is having the effect you’d expect it to have – fans are super hyped.
It could be argued that they already were, but even if that’s the case, this news has helped push them further over the edge.
“Second trailer dropping next month a year after the first one, I'm calling it,” posted DehMoreira on the GTA VI subreddit.

We’ve only seen one trailer, yet the fandom has big hopes for the experience.
