Cyberpunk 2077 gets a huge visual boost thanks to the latest graphics upscalers, so much so it looks like a new game.
Disregarding any problems it may have had at launch there was no denying that Cyberpunk 2077 looked fantastic, and while it probably could have looked even better if it was developed solely for the PlayStation 4/Xbox One it still impressed the majority of players.

Of course PC users can push the game even further if they’ve got the right hardware thanks to modifications that improve the game’s graphical fidelity and textures.

Another way is using upscalers, like the latest version of the NVIDIA DLSS upscaler which makes Cyberpunk 2077 look like an entirely different game.
In a YouTube video comparing the graphics for different versions of DLSS, it’s clear the latest option is the best as it provides a much sharper and smoother image of Night City and its denizens.
You probably wouldn’t notice much difference in the heat of battle of tearing through the city in a vehicle, but for those photomode enthusiasts or players who just like to take in the sights this upscaler is worth looking into.
While Cyberpunk 2077 still looks stellar, fans are more than likely looking forward to the next game in the series, which is currently under development with CD Projekt Red.

Details on the next game in the series are unfortunately few and far between, but we do know it’ll be made with Unreal Engine 5 so you can expect some jaw-dropping visuals when its first big reveal rolls around.
Of course don’t expect to see the game anytime soon, as the harsh backlash to the first Cyberpunk game has reportedly encouraged the developer to streamline its quality-assurance.
In the meantime, PC users can enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 as it was meant to be played, thanks mods and upscalers like the one above.
