A new Metal Gear Solid game has been officially announced by Konami - and we want it now.
This week has been a splendid one for Metal Gear Solid fans. Not only has the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake been announced, but we’re also getting the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1, which includes the classic MGS trilogy remastered for modern consoles.
However, that is not all, because we are now getting a treat for tabletop fans with Metal Gear Solid: The Board Game created by CMON. In case you didn't know, CMON has made some fun board games including Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City, Marvel United, Bloodborne: The Board Game, and more. So you know this MGS board game is in good hands.

“In this cooperative game designed by Emerson Matsuuchi and illustrated by Marco Checchetto, players take on the role of their favourite video game characters and experience stealthy gameplay and intricate storylines,” reads the official description.
It continues, “The VR Mission Book contains six independent Missions that can be played at any moment with any player count. For an additional challenge, players can also choose to experience the Shadow Moses campaign, playing across a 14 Mission-campaign.”
The board game includes four player character miniatures, five boss miniatures, 12 patrol miniatures, one Meryl disguise miniature, two cardboard box miniatures, 14 double-sided tiles, four player dashboards, nine boss dashboards, one patrol dashboard, 176 cards, ad 184 tokens.

Metal Gear Solid: The Board Game is available to pre-order now via the CMON website and if you do, you’ll get the 'Integral Edition', which not only has a $10 discount but also comes with either a Metal Gear REX miniature or a 109-page graphic novel.
Its standard RRP is $100 (excluding shipping) and it does ship to multiple countries worldwide, other than a few exceptions. It is expected to launch around May 2024.
