Mass Effect 5 may be in development, as announced back during 2021’s The Game Awards, but with no news since then, we will take anything we can get when it comes to releases surrounding the BioWare franchise.
Launching way back in 2007 with Mass Effect, the BioWare RPG has gone on to receive three more entries including its trilogy and 2017’s Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Check out the official trailer for the latest Mass Effect game, Mass Effect: Andromeda, below!
As mentioned, it’s fifth instalment was officially announced almost four-years ago but with BioWare remaining tight-lipped about its progress, fans are starting to think that it will join games such as BioShock 4 and Hollow Knight: Silksong as something of a myth in the gaming community.

However, we remain optimistic and in the meantime, Mass Effect fans can look forward to this brand-new release coming later this year.
In collaboration between Dark Horse Direct and BioWare, fans can get their hands on two Mass Effect legends: Jack and Legion, in statue form.
Available to pre-order now (and with 10% off if you choose to do so), fans of the powerful biotic and sentient Geth can show them off in all their glory and thanks to the images released, we can see that a lot of effort went into these figures.
They will launch in Fall 2025 and are designed to be “highly detailed but affordable collectables” with Jack coming in at $60 and is eight inches tall with Legion following at $70 but coming in at almost ten inches tall.

“Jack - the powerful biotic introduced in Mass Effect 2 - is modeled after her appearance in Mass Effect 3 and her statue features all of her signature tattoos, updated hairstyle, and punk-rock jacket,” the website description reads.
“As for Legion, the free-thinking Geth unit looks quite imposing thanks to its mechanical design and weapon.”
Although not the Mass Effect 5 that we all want, these are still some epic releases for the Mass Effect fan in your life and at that respectable price, you would be a fool not to take advantage of it.
