Marvel releases first trailer for Iron Man's long-awaited return

Marvel releases first trailer for Iron Man's long-awaited return

A new comic book run is finally upon us

If ever you’re missing a beloved character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I wholly advise you to hop on over into the world of Marvel Comics.

There, our favourite characters live on with various storyline runs as far as the eye can see.

Well, sometimes they die too, so do prepare yourself for that but there’s usually always a new run lurking just around the corner.

The MCU has been without Iron Man since the release of Avengers: Endgame but he’s about to embark on a new era within the comic book world.

A new Iron Man series is just about to land, with the first issues releasing this October.

Simply titled Iron Man, this run comes from Pulitzer prize winning writer Spencer Ackerman with art by Julius Ohta.

ICYMI: Marvel 1943: The Rise of Hydra is set to launch next year. Take a look at the game in action below.

Tony Stark was last seen in the X-Men run Fall of X.

He's finally resumed control over his company, Stark Unlimited, but that doesn’t mean it’s smooth sailing from here on out.

With both Roxxon and A.I.M just two of the many individuals trying to take advantage of Stark Unlimited, Tony Stark has certainly got his work cut out for him.

There’s a new trailer to get you hyped and ready for the arrival of the first issue in just over a month’s time.

It doesn’t give too much away, but it does confirm that we’ll see Tony using his Improvised Iron Man suit again. You can take a look below.

It's a great way to get your Iron Man fix, especially as he’s not going to be appearing in the MCU anytime soon.

Yes, Robert Downey Jr. is back as Doctor Doom but that hopefully won’t touch upon the legacy of the MCU’s Tony Stark.

I’m fine with the casting as long as they embark on a new trajectory, instead of digging up the past.

With Doomsday not set to arrive until 2026 though, you may as well dive into Iron Man next month.
