The X-Men is one of the most popular bands of superheroes in the world of comic books, whether it's Marvel, DC, Dark Horse or something else entirely and fans of the mutants have another reason to get excited.
From the creative minds of the late great Marvel legends, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Charles Xavier, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman and Angel all made their debut in 1963 with The X-Men #1 to battle with Magneto and his cronies for the very first time.

Outside of the comic book world, the X-Men would spawn reasonable success with live-action movies with some members of the team making appearances in the most recent adaptation, Deadpool & Wolverine.
However, it’s important not to forget where it all started with good old comic books and if you still like flicking through those glossy printed pages (or digitally if that tickles your fancy), then you’ll pleased to know that the first teaser has dropped for the newest X-Men series.
As reported by Comicbook.com, Marvel Comics has released the first preview of the new X-Men series, Exceptional X-Men and it features an all-new line-up of heroes. The new series is created by Eve L. Ewing (writer) and Carmen Carnero (artist).

“Kate Pryde leads a team of all-new X-Men! After the fall of Krakoa, Kate Pryde is trying to get as far away from all things X as she possibly can,” reads the synopsis.
“She's just a regular-degular bartender now. Definitely not getting ready to head up an all-new team of wayward young mutants while avoiding the watchful gaze of Emma Frost,” it continues. “Nothing in this title but work, dating and staving off depression. That's it. No never-before-seen Exceptional X-Men to see here!”
The first 40-page issue of Exceptional X-Men is available now wherever you buy your loverly comic books. You can also watch the fantastic animated series, X-Men '97 right now on Disney Plus.
