If you’ve finished with both of the Horizon titles from Guerrilla Games, as well as the two expansions and are on the lookout to fill that void, at least until Horizon 3 and the next Uncharted arrives, perhaps the upcoming Outcast: A New Beginning is worth your consideration. Outcast: A New Beginning is a direct sequel to 2017’s Outcast: Second Contact, a remake of the cult classic from 1999.

Developed by Appeal Studios and published by THQ Nordic, Outcast: A New Beginning takes place: “20 years after the award-winning action-adventure hit, Outcast, pioneered the genre of non-linear open-world games, the long-awaited sequel sees Cutter Slade return to the spectacular alien world of Adelpha.
“Resurrected by the almighty Yods, he has returned to find the Talans enslaved, the world stripped of its natural resources, and his own past intertwining with the invading robot forces. It's up to him to go on a mission and save the planet again.”
At the time of writing, Outcast: A New Beginning has a release date of 15 March 2024. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that delays are always likely. Outcast: A New Beginning will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
