Almost two years after it was first announced, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has received its first new gameplayer teaser of 2024 and it is safe to say that it still looks incredible.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an upcoming action RPG from A44 Games that is set to be released sometime later this year after it was delayed last summer. Inspired by other popular RPG franchises such as God of War, Assassin’s Creed and Horizon, it is clear where the influence comes from in this new gameplay teaser.

Teasing a bigger reveal in March, this small teaser gives us an updated look at the RPG but mostly focuses on the combat side of things. It is here we see how much of an impact our little critter companion, Enki, will play in combat alongside our protagonist Nor Vanek. Additionally, we get a peek at Flintlock’s scoring system and how it can affect battles.
Advert
It is clear that Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has come a long way since we first saw a trailer back in September 2022 but it still holds the charm that first drew everybody’s attention. With the game set to launch this year, it should not be long before we receive an official release date. Not only that but the RPG is still set to be a day one release for Xbox Game Pass members.
If you are unfamiliar with Flintlock, the open-world RPG takes place during humanity’s last stand against the Gods and their dead armies. As an elite member of the Coalition army, you are tasked with travelling to the city of Dawn whilst training to become a God killer along the way. Setting off on such a treacherous journey is no easy feat but with your skills and critter companion, you can become capable of anything.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn releases in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
