A new teaser for a Horizon Zero Dawn MMORPG has appeared online, and it sounds very promising so far.
Horizon Zero Dawn fans are eating well this year, especially with LEGO Horizon Adventures only a few months away.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows though as it was recently said that the planned Netflix adaptation of the series had been cancelled.

However, what does seem to still be in development is an MMORPG set in the Horizon world, planned for release on PC, mobile devices, and probably PlayStation 5.
Researcher Kurakasis recently tweeted several details about the game, which is believed to exist following a LinkedIn job advert boasting several similarities to PlayStation’s IP.
It’s said the upcoming game is being developed by NCSoft and is being made with Unreal Engine 5.
Around 140 developers are currently attached to the project, operating under the codename Project Skyline, and it’s expected to launch sometime after 2025, so don’t expect it anytime soon.

Of course all of this is still pure speculation at the time of writing, as neither PlayStation or Guerilla Games has confirmed its existence.
That being said it has been confirmed that several projects set in the Horizon world are planned, all at varying stages of development so an MMORPG certainly isn’t out of the question.
What exactly a Horizon MMORPG would even look like is an entirely different question, though given the open-world survival nature of the games it sounds like it’d be good fun, especially if you could get your friends involved for some multiplayer fun.
Given how the release date is anticipated to be way past 2025, don’t expect a look-in anytime soon, though perhaps PlayStation will officially confirm it’s a project in the pipeline at some point.
