Available on Steam, Generation Zero is best described as a mixture of Horizon Zero Dawn and Valheim.
There’s a “vast open world” to traverse through, however, it’s fraught with danger and thus you need to keep your wits about you.
Mistakes will prove costly, maybe even lethal.

“This is a good survival shooter,” critiqued PC player MolurusBivittatus. “Its story is very good so far and generally better than most AAA games the past few years.”
Reinforcing its entertainment value is this review from lacluster.
They said, “It's a pretty fun romp against robots of various kinds. The sound is absolutely amazing and the fire fights are top notch [..] The environment is beautiful and the various weapons are all pretty neat.”
As always, there are some who’ve been left unimpressed by its gameplay, but they are few in number. For the most part, there’s satisfied customers across the board.

Then you’ll need to spend £21.49 to do so, or £28.44 for the Starter Bundle, which includes some additional weapons to help get you set up.
It’s worth noting that this seems like a PC only game as opposed to one compatible with Macs.
As for being Steam Deck verified, we can’t find anything to confirm or deny that. If you’re feeling brave and have a PC to play on if it doesn’t work, you could purchase it and hope for the best.
