More Hogwarts Legacy leaks are upon us, and assuming this is real, it looks like fans can get very excited about the scale of the game.
Last month, we got our first glimpse at what Hogwarts Legacy’s map could look like thanks to a supposed leak of the game’s art book. While this wasn’t the final, in-game version, it still gave players some idea of how much there’d be to explore. Well, a new video has surfaced online which seems to show the actual map, and it’s yes. It’s enormous.
Simon Pegg is voicing Hogwarts Legacy’s headmaster - meet his character below.
The video was shared on the r/GamingLeaksandRumours subreddit, and pans over what appears to be the full map, complete with fast travel points. Again, at the time of writing, this is unofficial information, but assuming it’s real, there’s clearly far more to explore outside of Hogwarts itself.

If you look carefully, Hogwarts can be spotted right in the centre, and it looks really small. Of course, it only takes one peek at any of the game’s trailers to know that the castle is actually huge, so it just goes to show how massive the surrounding locations are (again, assuming that this is real).
When you consider the length of the title, perhaps this isn’t too much of a shock. One developer recently confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy could take up to 120 hours for completionists to beat, which definitely isn’t to be sniffed at. The main story alone will take around 40 hours, which is a lot more manageable, but still by no means a short jaunt.
However, not everyone is hyped about the game’s release. Some are planning to boycott the title due to its connection to J.K. Rowling, who has been criticised for making harmful comments about the transgender community. She will profit from Hogwarts Legacy's sales despite not being involved with its development.
Hogwarts Legacy will release on 10 February for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, but will be available three days early for those who have preordered the Deluxe or Collector’s Edition.
