Harry Potter fans were waiting years for the release of Hogwarts Legacy, and for the most part, the game was able to meet players’ lofty expectations. Now though, little over two months on from it hitting PCs and new-gen consoles, fans are already wondering when new content for it will be revealed.
To be fair, you can’t really blame anyone for thinking ahead. Warner Bros. has confirmed that it sees Hogwarts Legacy as a long-term franchise, meaning that there’s almost certainly going to be more new content to come - likely in the form of at least one sequel. However, it’s probably going to be quite some time before that does happen (if at all).
If you have the PC version of Hogwarts Legacy, there are loads of mods available to spice up the experience, including this hilarious one which adds PS1 Hagrid to the game.
With that in mind, some are wondering what potential DLC could be on its way instead, and on Reddit, fans all have very different ideas of what they’d like an expansion to include.

“Quidditch, diving in the Great Lake, Triwizard Cup, Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, give me it all,” Dunbar247 wrote. “Yo Imma be an exchange student and go to Durmstrang Institute,” ReliableRoommate commented. “Gimmie Animagus. At least 20 animals or something. You could make specific forms work for either brute force or stealth,” suggested darkmatter4925.
Previously, the devs revealed that there had been no plans for DLC when the game first launched since they didn’t want to “short-change” the players still waiting for the full game’s release on previous-gen consoles. Maybe that means that once it does release on all platforms, DLC plans can finally go ahead?
Hogwarts Legacy is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on 5 May, and Nintendo Switch on 25 July.
