It needs to be said at this point: Rockstar Games has so starved its GTA fandom of upcoming trailer details, that they’re now taking their hype to ridiculously new levels.
This is no slight against the fans – they’ve had to deal with the bleak void of no information about GTA VI for far too long. Even now, with the first glimpse of the trailer looming, we still know very little other than a rough timeframe.
Have you seen how gorgeous this fan-made GTA: San Andreas remake is?
With so few details, how else are gamers meant to entertain themselves than to come up with some unique and, quite frankly, weird guessing games? We say weird because people are guessing what “objects or events” will be seen in the GTA VI trailer.

According to the mastermind behind this game, “After the trailer is released, it will be months before the second trailer or official screenshots are released (compared to the advertising campaign of previous Rockstar games). I think someone will be interested to see how right we were about the trailer.”
They then offer their own guess of “a palm”, which we assume means a palm tree and not the random hand of a GTA NPC. Granted, this isn’t as “quirky” as drinking your own urine, but it’s still unusual. Yet, countless fans have joined in this riveting game, with over 400 comments posted within the first 24 hours of the thread going live.
“A sunset,” suggested one gamer, which then led into a debate over how you’d tell the difference between a sunrise and a sunset, with one joker asking, “How will we know for sure?” Now we don’t know what to think, feel, or take as truth after such conspiracies arise from a simple guessing game – who knew the stakes could be this high?!
Others predict we’ll see “a person working out”, which then sparked several comments about how great the gym was in previous games. Not everyone was as impassioned as one particular poster, but many agreed seeing a gym or fitness-savvy NPC isn’t a longshot considering other GTA titles.

It’s not just guessing games being created as the GTA VI hype mounts, some fans are using the game as a way for them to quit smoking so that they don’t miss time out from playing it. Hey, whatever helps you make those healthier decisions, we’re here for it. Unless you’re going to massacre every NPC like some gamers do, then we might ask you to reconsider.
