It is not uncommon for big video game releases to be the victim of delays these days but luckily, it seems as though Grand Theft Auto VI won’t be affected.
As annoying as delays can be, especially when you are looking forward to a game, it is better than the developers experiencing the crunch or the game coming out in a terrible state.

That means that after an eleven year wait, we will finally be diving into the next Grand Theft Auto entry in Fall 2025.
Set to release any time between September and November next year, Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that GTA VI will indeed release during this time frame.
The news was confirmed during Take-Two’s fiscal second quarter 2025 report with the exact words being “Fall of calendar 2025”.
Arriving on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, Grand Theft Auto VI’s confirmed release was shared by Geoff Keighley himself on social media.

With the game now expected to launch on time, it is quite strange that the studio has been quiet when it comes to updates, especially a second official trailer.
However, with many fans believing that the trailer could drop any day now, it is not worth losing hope yet.
