I can't quite believe I'm saying this, but we've managed to go another month without a GTA VI trailer. The game's release date, however, appears to be looking more and more certain.
Last month it was looking all but guaranteed GTA VI would be revealed on 26 October. Multiple insiders jumped on the bandwagon, promising a trailer would land “soon”. For its part, Rockstar accidentally fuelled speculation when they uploaded a private video.
The reveal date came and went, of course, and Rockstar revealed nothing. However, one industry insider with a notable track record (they leaked the GTA Trilogy remake) claims to have heard something in regards to a release date from multiple developers.

Here's everything we know about GTA VI so far!
Rockstar Games insider Tez2 took to the GTAForums recently to reveal they've heard the studio doesn't expect GTA VI to launch until spring 2025, which is actually slightly later than we'd previously heard. Worse still, they suggest the game could yet be delayed further.
"Several devs expect the release window in 2025," they write. "A spring release is what's expected. But Rockstar aimed for a Spring release for both GTA V & RDR 2 in the past that was eventually delayed to a Fall release."

The insider goes on to predict that GTA VI will probably still be announced this year, likely as part of Rockstar's 25th anniversary somewhere between late November and early December. Take that with a massive pinch of salt, obviously, as we all spent October thinking exactly the same thing.
Mid to late 2025 is certainly looking increasingly likely for GTA VI at this point. Here's hoping whenever they finally do reveal the game it comes with a release date right away so we can put an end to the speculation and start the countdown properly.
