Grand Theft Auto VI fans are hungry for a new tease, a totally understandable feeling given that Rockstar Games dropped GTA VI’s first and only trailer in early December.
Hopefully, we’ll see marketing ramp up later this year seeing as the game is due to land in 2025.
If you compare GTA VI to Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, for example, that game also has an unknown 2025 release date but Hideo Kojima has been slightly more forthcoming with trailers and teases than Rockstar Games.

What we do know is that GTA VI will star dual protagonists Jason and Lucia with the story taking us back to our beloved Vice City.
Rockstar Games has confirmed they’re in the ‘final stretch’ of development, with rumours continuing to swirl that GTA VI may be one of the most expensive video games ever created.
It’s tidbits like these that fans continue to feast upon as we await the next major update.
In the meantime though, yet more gameplay footage appears to have leaked online despite Rockstar’s controversial move to force developers back into the office five days a week as a security measure to prevent such leaks.

You may as well watch it one more time. Take a look at GTA VI in action below.
The gameplay footage was leaked by Twitter user Dead_Light69 who captioned it, “Posting one GTA VI leak everyday till trailer two is released. Day 64.”
The video has since been disabled due to a report by the copyright owner but it was viewed by Indy100.

They reported that the clip showed Lucia (controlled by the player) involved in a police shootout alongside Jason. The duo reportedly used a police car to get away.
The same Twitter user also posted a screenshot supposedly taken from the game.
Again, this has been taken down but Indy100 claimed that it showed Jason “in a building”.
That’s not a lot to go on but both of these leaks have got fans talking.

“You can see someone with a red dot running away. Probably a witness like in RDR2,” wrote one viewer.
“Pay attention to the words under the stars,” another added. “Tells you if cops have a full description of your person or when you get in the car, it’ll tell you if they have a full description of your vehicle. Kinda genius.”
It sounds as if we’ll have our work cut out for us outrunning the law in GTA VI. Bring it on.
