Since it dropped, we’ve been waiting for the GTA VI cameos to start being announced or, at the very least, hinted at. Yet, it’s been surprisingly quiet… until now. We’d been hoping and praying for a good cameo and the devs are not disappointing us.
American rapper T-Pain has subtly revealed that he’s involved with the upcoming GTA VI. The “big reveal” came after fans questioned the rapper over his lack of involvement with NoPixel (a GTA V roleplaying server) in recent months.
ICYMI: Take a look at GTA VI's trailer below.
“I used to be on NoPixel then I started working on GTA VI and they [Rockstar Games] told me I couldn’t do RP [roleplaying] anymore.” He continued, “They had this whole speech like ‘What if somebody took your album and re-recorded it and more people were listening to that?’”

T-Pain also added how he was having a “good time” on the servers, but that he understood sacrifices must be made. He’s a stronger man than us.
As for what T-Pain’s role in the game will involve, we can only speculate – something GTA fans have become extremely good at. Still, while we don’t know the exact details, it’s great to see more information surfacing about the game that doesn’t spoil the experience, unlike the “twist ending” leak that fans fear has ruined the game already.
If you'd somehow missed it, the Florida Joker has now threatened to bust the GTA VI hacker out of jail if Rockstar don't pay him for his inclusion in the game. That’s how wild the events surrounding this game are.
Hopefully we don’t get more release date confusion to set us on edge, we’re content enough to wait until the next GTA VI trailer drops. Who knows, by then we might have learned of more celeb cameos, either through hard sleuthing or a candid reveal like T-Pain’s.
