GTA 6 fans feeling hopeless following new announcement

Come on guys, just give us a crumb of new gameplay

Rockstar Games has revealed that Grand Theft Auto V is getting a new piece of free content! Yay! Oh, wait two secs– I’ve greatly misread the situation and everyone is actually super mad about this.

Alright, in everyone’s defence, we’ve not heard anything about Grand Theft Auto VI in what feels like years. That’s probably because it almost has literally been years, considering the first and only trailer for the game came out in 2023.

That hasn’t stopped Rockstar Games from blasting their social accounts every week with new updates for Grand Theft Auto Online though, and it seems folks have finally started to reach their tipping point.

“Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Play GTA Online through March 19 to get the Blarneys Stout Tee. Players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Enhanced) can complete the look with a matching Blarneys Festive Beer Hat,” revealed the official Rockstar Games Twitter account last night.

“No one cares about this game anymore we’re just waiting for fall to arrive,” commented user @immrnugsYT.

“What is the difficulty in giving more information about GTA VI?” replied user @grownvie.

Here's that original trailer.

“The game launches this year and we don’t know anything about the game, I think it will be postponed.”

Unfortunately, the folks that run Rockstar Games’ social accounts don’t really have any say in when you’ll hear any more info regarding Grand Theft Auto VI, so (while cathartic) these kinds of replies aren’t going to do anything to speed things along.

Also, all of these comments about when the next trailer for GTA VI is or whether GTA VI has been delayed are just bumping the term “GTA VI” higher and higher up the search engine algorithm, so in a sense, there’s not much point them advertising it when everyone else is doing it for them.

We’re getting to the point where Rockstar Games is going to have to say something regarding the game soon, because we’re roughly six to eight months away from the rough date they promised it would launch anyway.

I know it’s rough folks, but just have a little bit more patience.
